CHEMICAL LABORATORY

The Department of Mining and Geology is equipped with a chemical lab with state of the art facility. The lab's main function is to carry out chemical analysis of mineral samples collected by exploration and prospecting wing of the Department. The lab also extends its services to outside agencies, mining industries and researchers on payment basis. Services of one Senior Chemist and 3 Junior Chemists are available in lab. Recently lab has acquired the facility for testing the purity of gold and allied metals.
